Reservation
Post covid-19 Terms – conditions: A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to show the commitment of the client and allow a room for further arrangements such as reservation of the accommodations.
Cancellation
Any monies paid will be refunded less the cost of cancellation fees levied by hotels, food purchases and any other relevant expenses.
In case a booking is cancelled the following cancellation fees shall apply:
- Reason of Cancellation will determine if terms – conditions will apply or not, we are flexible and with covid-19 pandemic we are ready to to see our clients loose the money meant for a holiday. There is a room for talk to see if the safari can be rescheduled.
- The amount in question will be the 20% deposit that is requested as commitment fees and a credit note can be issued that is valid for a period of 2 years.
Transportation
Cars, minibuses, coaches or 4X4 Toyota Land Cruiser will be provided depending on the route and the request from clients. Group joining safaris are done with a customized and comfortable safari van, Private safaris or customized safaris transport is as per the clients request. Transfers between the Airport and Hotels will be either on a small Cars{ Toyota Fielder or similar}. Our Terms – conditions are flexible to suit our clienteles.
Accommodation
Budget Holiday Safaris does not own any accommodation property in any of the safari destinations; {Masai Mara Game Reserve, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Nakuru National Park, Samburu National Reserve, Amboseli National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara among others} the accommodation will be discussed between the client and the contact tour consultant. The agreed rooming and the accommodation property agreed will be Reserved or booked as agreed. Kindly for budget accommodation and group joining safaris the arrangement is on a sharing basis where two same gender will be sharing a twin tent or room.
Alteration to tours
Budget Holiday Safaris reserves the right to reroute the itineraries mostly the group joining safaris so as to accommodate all the travelers and make sure all the destinations confirmed are covered. Customized safaris or private safaris can be re routed only in case the accommodations in a certain safari destination is unavailable as per the confirmed itinerary. We are ready to adhere to all safari package itineraries and only at times there will be rerouting.
Liability
The company and its agents act only as agents for the passenger in all matters relating to hotels/lodge accommodation, tours, transport, etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.
The company’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action arise. The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors for all or part of the services.
Note
All expeditions involve an element of personal risk and at times can be of a hazardous nature. Expedition members must accept this risk; we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, expense, delay or inconvenience caused to you or your baggage as a result, whether directly or indirectly, or any matter of whatever nature, which is outside our control. All participants are advised to take out an insurance policy to cover personal accident and medical expenses. We can arrange this at a low cost.
Climbing
Gear for mountain climbing is not included in the tour cost but can be hired at Nanyuki, Naro Moru Gate, Sirimon Gate or Chogoria for Mt. Kenya and at Arusha, Moshi and the route gates for Mt. Kilimanjaro Climbing Adventure
