This starts with an early breakfast, followed by an early morning game drive as we exit the Park and head on to Lake Nakuru. On the way, you will marvel at the scenic views of the Rift Valley, and the beautiful scenery will leave you with a deeper appreciation of your Kenya safari experience. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most beautiful National Parks in Kenya. Over a million flamingos can be found here, turning the lakeshore pink. The National park is also home to over 400 species of birds, offering you sweet melodious sounds and a nature experience like no other. Lake Nakuru is also home to the endangered black and white rhinos. Looking in the trees you will also spot the giraffes and if you look at the treetops, you will see the lions staring at your safari vehicle. Zebra herds can also be found grazing on the rich grass found here. Later, we will exit the park and head back to Nairobi, with lunch on the way. You will be dropped off at your hotel- HOTEL ON OWN.
Day 5: Nairobi – Arusha
Departing from Nairobi with a shuttle to Arusha. You will arrive in Namanga Border for immigration procedures and then proceed on to Arusha arriving in the afternoon. Check in to the hotel booked for bed and breakfast. You will rest and relax for the rest of the day as you prepare for the next day’s safari. (dinner on own)
Day 6: Arusha – Lake Manyara
Our professional driver-guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning, who will brief you about the safari and after depart for Lake Manyara arriving at your camp in time for lunch. Later, we head into the park for game viewing. This soda ash lake consists of huge flocks of flamingos, giving a breath-taking scenery. The park is also famously known for its tree-climbing lions, a big number of elephants, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons, and lesser-known wildlife like the dik-diks, and the klipspringer. Dinner and overnight will be in basic tents at the Panorama Campsite/Similar.
Day 7: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Our Kenya and Tanzania budget wildlife safari continues to Serengeti National Park. After our breakfast, we head to Serengeti via the Ol Duvai Gorge Museum, where the early man appeared, a million years ago. (You can make an optional visit at the museum at an extra cost of 40$ per person). Upon arrival, we will head to the Serengeti National Park, which is widely known for the greatest wildlife spectacle, the great migration of wildebeest. The Plains are also home to a resident population of elephants, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, and birds. Dinner and overnight shall be at the temporarily fixed tents in Seronera Campsite/Similar.
Day 8: Serengeti- Ngorongoro
On this Africa safari tour of our Kenya and Tanzania budget wildlife safari, our final destination is the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, you will have your final game drive in Serengeti National Park, known for the great wildebeest migration and many animals. Later depart to Ngorongoro Crater with your lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at basic tents.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater- Arusha
After breakfast, leave with packed lunch and descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 6 hours game drive. Ngorongoro Crater has a stunning landscape consisting of vast expanses of woodlands, savannah forests, and highlands. This combined with a high concentration of wildlife, ranging from the endangered rhino species, the big cats, which include the lions, the elusive leopard, cheetahs, etc. and others like zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and the giant African elephants, makes it one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world. Later drive back to Arusha, with a drop off at your hotel, booked on Bed and Breakfast- Dinner on Own.
Day 10: Arusha – Zanzibar OR Nairobi
After breakfast Pickup from the Hotel and drop you at the Airport to connect your Flight to Zanzibar evening for drop-off at the hotel or drop-off at the shuttle bus, that will transfer you to Nairobi.
