After a safari briefing at Budget Holiday Safaris office, we leave the bustle in Nairobi, and drive along the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara, with a stop at the scenic Rift Valley View Point. We will proceed on our adventure safari to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. We will arrive in time for lunch. Later we proceed to the park for game viewing, the rich landscape takes your breath away, and the trails of the wildlife here will leave you with safari memories that will linger in your mind forever. Day 2: Explore the Wonders of Maasai Mara
A whole day spent at Masai Mara Game Reserve exploring the vast plains, in search of its wildlife, a haven for the big cats. Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the most-known parks in the world and is a wildlife sanctuary for Kenya. Sightings for today include Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras dominate the scene while Antelopes, Warthogs, Wildebeests form formidable numbers. Masai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer than any other park in the region. You will have your picnic lunch and continue to venture through the plains looking out for real close wildlife encounters. Tracing the various animals, you find yourself at the Mara River which has crocodiles and hippos; this is the wildebeest crossing point from the neighboring Serengeti. The Mara plains comprise of wildlife and the communities of the Maasai people. An optional local Masai Village visit can be arranged at the end of the day at an extra cost. Day 3: A full day exploring the majestic plains of Masai Mara
We leave the lodge in the morning to explore the majestic wild plains of the Masai Mara game reserve. The game reserve is packed with huge herds of elephants, zebras, rhinos, and all kinds of games throughout the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. Being at Maasai Mara is “as if you found yourself in the New York of the natural world according to some authorities”. Indeed you have the best opportunity of seeing all the big five. Day 4: Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast check out, and go for a short game drive in Masai Mara, where you have a chance the spot wildlife for the last time. Later leave Masai Mara via Narok arriving in Nairobi in the evening, a drop off at the hotel, or be transferred to the airport. You will depart Africa with wonderful wild memories of your Kenya safari holiday that will last you a lifetime.
