5 DAYS CAMPING TANZANIA SAFARI -LAKE MANYARA / SERENGETI / NGORONGORO
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara
Our professional driver guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning, who will brief you about the safari and after depart for Lake Manyara arriving at your camp in time for lunch. Later, we head into the park for game viewing. This soda ash lake consists of huge flocks of flamingos, giving a breath-taking scenery. The park is also famously known for its tree-climbing lions, big number of elephants, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons and the lesser known wildlife like the dik-diks, and the klipspringer. Dinner and overnight will be in basic tents at the Panorama Campsite.
Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After our breakfast, we head to Serengeti via the Ol Duvai Gorge Museum, where the early man appeared, a million years ago (You can make an optional visit at the museum at an extra cost of 40$ per person). Upon arrival, we will head to the Serengeti National Park, which is widely known for the greatest wildlife spectacle, the great migration of wildebeest. The Plains are also home to resident population of elephants, cheetahs, lions, giraffes and birds. Dinner and overnight shall be at the temporary fixed tents in Seronera Campsite.
Day 3: Full Day in the majestic Serengeti Plains
Our day starts early morning with breakfast and leave for the park with picnic lunches. A full day in the Serengeti is an adventurous safari experience and does not disappoint. Perhaps the most famous fascination with Serengeti is the wildebeest migration, which flows from the south to the Nothern side of the park in the months of April to June. Throughout the year, other residents of this park roam freely here, the likes of lions, leopard, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, serval cats and more wildlife. Dinner and overnight will be at basic tents-Simba Campsite.
Day 4: Serengeti- Ngorongoro
After breakfast you will have your final game drive in Serengeti National Park, known for the great wildebeest migration and many animals. Later depart to Ngorongoro Crater with your lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at basic tents.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater- Arusha
After breakfast you will descend 2000ft (670 m) into the crater floor with your picnic lunches. The entire day is spent in the park with a lunch break at Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. The main crater is 165 km and contains populations of various species including black manned lions, rhinos, buffalo, elephants, and other grazing animals. Later depart to Arusha with arriving in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at the hotel in Arusha booked on bed and breakfast. Dinner on own.
