Day 1: Kenya Midrange Private Safari Starts – Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your Kenya Midrange Private Safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi. After a short safari briefing, depart for Amboseli National Park, one of the best places in Africa to see elephants and beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch, then proceed for your first afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park. Later, continue to Sentrim Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Exploring Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, leave with picnic lunch boxes and spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park. The park is famous for large elephant herds, open plains, wetlands and beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. This private Kenya safari offers excellent photography opportunities, especially when elephants graze with the mountain in the background. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Amboseli before exiting the park. Drive to Aberdare National Park with a lunch stop in Thika. Arrive at The Treetops Lodge in the afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy beautiful views from the lodge balcony. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Aberdare Country Club.

Day 4: Aberdare National Park – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve. Aberdare National Park is known for forested ravines, waterfalls and wildlife such as black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, colobus monkeys and rare sightings of the mountain bongo. Later, continue to Samburu National Reserve and arrive in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve, a beautiful wildlife destination in northern Kenya. The reserve is known for unique species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and Beisa oryx, also known as the Samburu Special Five. The reserve also has elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and many bird species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 6: Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, enjoy one last game drive in Samburu National Reserve before driving to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have a stopover at the beautiful Thompson Falls in Nyahururu before proceeding to Lake Nakuru. The park is known for rhinos, flamingos, buffaloes, waterbucks, zebras, giraffes and rich birdlife. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate National Park

Enjoy a final game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park before departing for Lake Naivasha. Lake Nakuru offers excellent wildlife viewing and is a sanctuary for endangered species such as the white rhino and Rothschild’s giraffe. After lunch, proceed to Lake Naivasha and enjoy a relaxed afternoon at leisure at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Hell’s Gate National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park for a scenic safari experience. Enjoy the dramatic landscapes, cliffs and open plains as animals graze in the park. Later, drive through the beautiful Great Rift Valley landscape to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in one of Kenya’s most popular safari destinations, known for its high concentration of wildlife and big cats. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mara Chui Lodge.

Day 9: Full Day Kenya Midrange Private Safari in Masai Mara

Spend a full day on your Kenya Midrange Private Safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast, proceed with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive across the reserve. Masai Mara offers rich wildlife viewing and a beautiful cultural experience. During the game drive, you may see lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras and many other animals. Depending on the season, you may also witness the wildebeest migration around the Mara River. Continue with game viewing until sunset, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Masai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast, you may visit a local Maasai village for a cultural experience at an extra cost of USD 10 per person. Later, drive back to Nairobi, where your Kenya Midrange Private Safari ends.
