Day 1: Nairobi- Masai Mara

Budget Holiday Safaris will pick you from your hotel at 8:00 A.M and head west for Masai Mara Game Reserve, with lunch on the way; we will have stops on the way at scenic stops, arriving in Masai Mara, in time for the sundowner game drive. Your Kenya Safari adventure will begin with game-viewing on Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve. The landscape is covered with large herds of elephants, buffalos, prides of lions, coalitions of cheetahs and so much more. During the months of July-October, millions of wildebeest, migrate to the Masai Mara from the neighboring Serengeti, this provides a stunning spectacle of your visit to Masai Mara. This is in addition to the permanent residents of The Masai Mara Game Reserve. After your sundowner game drive, you will head back to the Miti Mingi Eco camp, for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: A Full Day in Maasai Mara Wild Plains

We leave the camp in the morning to explore the majestic wild plains of the Masai Mara game reserve. The game reserve is packed with huge herds of elephants, zebras, rhinos, and all kinds of games throughout the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. Being at Maasai Mara is “as if you found yourself in the New York of the natural world according to some authorities”. Depending on your timing, you can also witness millions of wildebeest crossing this river from the neighboring Serengeti, to look for greener pastures in Masai Mara. The Wildebeest Migration is one of the world’s annual spectacular events in the Masai Mara. Indeed Masai Mara Game reserve will offer one of the best safari experiences on your safari tour in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at the Miti Mingi Eco camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara- Lake Nakuru

This starts with an early breakfast, followed by an early morning game drive as we exit the Park and head on to Lake Nakuru. On the way, you will marvel at the scenic views of the Rift Valley, and the beautiful scenery will leave you with a deeper appreciation of your Kenya safari experience. Dinner and overnight will be at the Citymax hotel.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru- Samburu

After our breakfast, we have a game drive as we exit Lake Nakuru National Park. We will have a stop at the Thomson’s falls; you can see them while standing on the designated viewpoints, or follow the trail to the foot of the falls. Your drive to Samburu National Park is scenic; you can see tea plantations and coffee plantation on the way, combined with the lush forests, which are hard to miss. You will arrive in Samburu in the evening and if there is time, have a short game drive before retiring to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Camel Lodge Hotel.

Day 5: A full day exploring the wonders of Samburu

After your early breakfast, you will spend the day in Samburu National Park, searching for the game found here. More unique wildlife can be found here, such as Beisa Oryxes, generuk gazelle, lesser kudus and more. You will have an extended game drive that will take you to the Buffalo springs and the banks of Ewaso Ngiro River where the wildlife is more concentrated. Lions, Leopards, and elephants may also be seen here. You will picnic lunch in the park and continue with your game viewing till the evening, where you can return to the camp, you can visit the Samburu women, or just rest. Dinner and overnight is at the Camel Lodge Hotel.

Day 6: Samburu-Mount Kenya

After breakfast, we will have a short game drive as we exit the park, the landscape is the scenery and very beautiful as you weave your way from Samburu National Park. The rolling hills provide a good view as head on to Mount Kenya arriving at Nanyuki town base hotel, for lunch followed by an afternoon of optional activities. Dinner and overnight shall be in Simba Hotel.

Day 7: Mount Kenya – Amboseli

After breakfast, your adventure drive will continue, with a visit to Mau Mau caves where the freedom fighters use to hide during the Second World War and nature walk along the base of Mount Kenya. Later we leave the Mount Kenya region for Amboseli with lunch en-route. Amboseli is at the Slope or Foot of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Upon arrival, check-in at Kimana Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Full Day spent in Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, we head to the park for our full day game viewing. Your Kenyan adventure today consists of panoramic views, large herds of elephants walking slowly on the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, buffalos bathing in the swampy areas, giraffes feeding on the treetops, zebras, warthogs, lions, and more wildlife. You will have your picnic lunch under a tree shade and continue scouring this semi-arid park, for more of its wildlife. In the evening, when the clouds open, the snow-capped highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is more visible and gives a fairytale view as you marvel at the elephants roaming at the foot of the Mountain. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi

Depart for Nairobi after breakfast with an en-route game drive, arriving late afternoon in Nairobi, Optional Dinner at Carnivore Restaurant at the rate of 40 USD Per Person. Dinner will be at 1900Hrs, later transfer to JKIA to board your flight back home.
