Day 1
Entebbe → Bwindi
Transfer for your scheduled light-aircraft flight to Kihihi Airstrip in south-western Uganda, watching the landscape change from Lake Victoria's shores to terraced hills and forest. On landing at Kihihi, your guide drives you to Bwindi Lodge on the edge of the forest. Spend the afternoon at leisure, perhaps with a short guided walk around the lodge surroundings, before dinner.
Day 2
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, attend the ranger briefing at the park office and join your trekking group. With guides and trackers, follow trails through steep, dense forest to a habituated gorilla family; treks can take from under an hour to most of the day. Once you reach them, spend up to one hour watching the gorillas quietly, then return to the lodge to rest.
Day 3
Bwindi → Entebbe
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast with views over the forest canopy, then transfer back to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Entebbe. Depending on flight times, there may be time for a gentle morning walk before you leave. On arrival in Entebbe, you are met and transferred to your hotel or to the international terminal.
