Day 1

Nairobi → Maasai Mara

Rift Valley views and an evening drive

After a pick-up from the airport, your Nairobi hotel or residence, set off for the Maasai Mara. The route passes the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, with sweeping views across the valley floor, and Narok town for a final stop. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and check-in, then head out on an evening game drive. The Mara has some of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife, with elephant, buffalo, zebra and lion prides all year round.

Day 2

Maasai Mara National Reserve

A full day of game viewing

After breakfast, set out on a full day of game viewing across the reserve. The Mara offers a varied experience — great numbers of animals on the savannah, scenic river crossings and a strong Maasai cultural presence. Your guide will follow the network of tracks in search of lion, elephant, giraffe and buffalo, and may reach the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles live and migration herds sometimes cross between July and October.

Day 3

Maasai Mara → Nairobi

A relaxed morning and the drive back

Enjoy a slightly later start and breakfast at the lodge before checking out. There is the option of visiting a Maasai village to experience the community's culture, dances and stories (extra cost). Then leave the Mara via Narok, arriving in Nairobi in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or a transfer to the airport.
